The triumphant tour of the Taycan Turbo GT began where all legends are forged: on the demanding Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. Porsche development driver Lars Kern posted a stratospheric time of 7:07.5 minutes, erasing the old Taycan Turbo S record by more than 26 seconds.

Inspired directly from Porsche's 99X Formula E race cars, "Attack Mode" provides an additional 120 kW boost for up to 10 seconds at the push of a button. Perfect for overtaking or long straights, this system is coupled with a new pulse inverter using silicon carbide on the rear axle, guaranteeing exceptional thermal efficiency.

The Weissach Package: The Ultimate Weapon

For track purists, Porsche offers the legendary Weissach Package. The result? A drastic weight loss cure. The rear bench seat disappears, sound insulation is reduced, and carbon invades the cabin and bodywork. In total, the car loses 75 kilograms compared to a Turbo S. Combined with the Porsche Active Ride suspension with GT-specific tuning, the car literally defies the laws of physics.

With these performances, the Taycan Turbo GT no longer merely competes with other electric vehicles; it comes directly to hunt on the territory of the most exclusive thermal hypercars, including within its own family (it is faster on track than a 911 Turbo S).

The fact that Patrick Long broke the Road Atlanta record on a still-damp track, or that Ramez Azzam came within 1.1 seconds of the absolute touring car record at Yas Marina in near 28-degree heat, proves that the thermal management of this Porsche is at an unprecedented level in the industry.
